What Are Biologics?
Biologics are natural, cell- or tissue-derived materials that may enhance your body’s own repair mechanisms by supporting a healthy cellular environment. They are commonly studied in the context of orthopedic, nerve, and soft tissue injury, as well as emerging uses in wellness and aesthetic support.
🧬 Mesenchymal Stem Cells (UC-MSCs): Live, Native, and Non-Culture Expanded
Our biologics therapies feature live, native umbilical-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs), never culture-expanded. These cells are:
- Derived from healthy, full-term deliveries from rigorously screened donors with an average age of 25, all within the United States
- Third-party tested for sterility, viability, and safety
- Not culture-expanded, preserving their natural integrity and improving their safety profile
Why UC-MSCs?
Mesenchymal stem cells are increasingly studied for their regenerative potential and ability to:
- Become specialized cells such as cartilage, tendon, nerve, bone, and muscle
- Recruit and signal your body’s own stem cells to aid in tissue repair
- Help modulate the immune system with low MHC-complex expression, making them well-tolerated in most patients
These cells are being explored in orthopedic research for their role in coordinating tissue repair and reducing inflammation in damaged tissues.
